Breast Cancer: I Gave Up After One Chemo

Doctor asked me to do chemotherapy before mastectomy. I was asked to to 6 cycles, but after 1 cycle, I gave up. My blood count dropped to zero. I was given blood-count booster injection. This made me worse. The lump became bigger and more painful. Then they wanted me to take oral chemo.

3 years ago, in 2005 I had a lump in my right breast. It went off by itself. In 2007, the lump in my left breast grew the the size of a ping pong ball (7cm). I was diagnosed with cancer of left breast with auxilliary lymphadenopathy. I has already spread to other sites.

There Is Still Hope
